During the World War II, it is said that the Imperial Japanese forces stole precious treasures from all their conquests throughout Southeast Asia. According to stories, the leader of the forces, General Tomoyuki Yamashita, hid the treasures in different caves and tunnels underground in the Philippines. Because of these, treasure hunters all over the world have been lured in search of this legendary treasure.

The Martinez family is a wealthy family engaged in business particularly mining and selling gold. Mr. Ben, the grandfather of the family is a Filipino World War II veteran who loves to tell stories to his grandchild, Isko about his troop's participation to bury the Yamashita treasure in the tunnels.
